A kaleidoscope of color,
Rests high upon the hill,
Spring in newborn wonder,
Warms the eerie chill;
A burst of magnificent sunrise,
Streams down upon the land,
A feast for hungry, hopeful eyes,
That search for God's soft hand;
A tiny bud encased in dew,
Unfolds a beautiful rose,
Strength from a delicate flower,
We no longer need to suppose...
We know God's right beside us,
His presence everywhere,
From sea to sea around this world,
He holds us in His care.
He gives us delicate breezes,
He gives us turquoise skies,
He gives determination,
As He dries our teary eyes;
He has a dawn break everyday,
He shines the stars at night,
He carries all our burdens,
As He shelters with His might.
Spring's just waking landscape,
Soft spatters from His brush,
Given to calm our worries,
As we wait for peaceful hush.

God Bless our courageous Troops...
God Bless America

What beautiful images of peace in the mist of such war and terror. Thank you for this, it calmed my spirit...

Oh, make me Thine forever
And should I fainting be
Lord, let me never ever
Outlive my love for Thee

Your poem here is a most welcome rejuvenation for me from the constant media bombardment of war and heartache. Yes, God is still with us and doing what He has always done best.... Showing His Love and Mercy toward us each and every day as you've expressed here to me as being a new and glorious Spring sunrise. Thank you again. Your poetry truly has blessed and blesses my soul.

I think this ought to be sent to all our soldiers fighting overseas. This is really beautiful, Bonnie.

Doesn't God paint a beautiful
world for us? It's so beautiful.
And, your poem is, too.
