Americas' Innocent-We Loved Them So
Sept. 11 Tribute

Long before their souls came due,
innocent lives were taken by terrorists who,
could not know the meaning of or ever will,
God’s' commandment saying, "Thou shall not kill".

They couldn’t know we loved those innocent so,
their hearts were closed of that gift from God I know.
We'll never believe and they cannnot make us see,
violence to others will set souls free.

The flight was changed, history's die already cast,
Gods' angels wept as the fateful plane flew by so fast.
And so it was instead of what will be,
so many souls died, so many left to weep, needlessly.

Our hearts’ cry "Oh God", we know who is to blame,
we know who is responsible for causing such pain.
We try not hating you, even this you must know.
We can only pray for Gods' mercy He will show.

Spirit of God, given freely to all,
the guilty caused to grieve, from glory they did fall.
They made their choice between heaven and hell,
by their will chose hell, forever to dwell.

History is written with a mark in pitch black,
when God's innocent souls were attacked.
The story is written for generations to know, the truth forever told.
The day the terrorists sold to the devil their souls.

They run and hide like satan told them to do,
the way they will live the rest of life through.
Guilty of throwing innocent lives away,
Killing innocent souls who had the right to stay.

For all of us left who I shall call 'we',
are stronger united for our right to stay free.
Love and freedom we know is everyone's right,
America the Beautiful, Gods Light shines bright.

Indeed.. we must pray for our enemies, even these killers. The devil decieved them into thinking what they did was right, and I have nothing but pity for them. Such a message must be in our book!

Oh, make me Thine forever
And should I fainting be
Lord, let me never ever
Outlive my love for Thee

(big hugggsssssss) That is one thing that really angers me about the Bush Administration, the fact that they seem to have pushed the whole Christian notion of forgiveness and turning the other cheek over and find war an excuse to solve the problem, this to me is a whole different knind of terrorism we can't tolerate! (sad sigh) We must forgive our enemies and killers and perhaps they may forgive us too and we can start to make steps to peace, my prayers remain with the world, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Anita, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Thank you for reading a poem that I cried all through each word that my hand, holding my pen wrote to show that I and all peace loving souls hurt so bad when this tragedy occurred. And I prayed that each word would honor those who died, killed by those who chose darkness instead of the Light of Jesus. And I always write for the glory of God. All that I am is a humble servant of my Creator who gave me life. I will praise and glorify God for allowing me to write poetry. A gift that I would not have except for the grace of God that gave me this gift I share.
Thank you Father, I love you with all my heart.

A most sentimental tribute, I think, for a most distressing day forever marked in American history and upon the minds and hearts of people everywhere. Your poem would make a wonderful addition to the anthology if only for sentimental sake alone. Very good writing my friend.
