The Beauty of the Hours

Each day is beautiful and new.
I look for something I can do
To show that I appreciate
The world God labored to create!

Days are like a fragrant flower.
Petals, represent each hour
And as they fall, I hope that I'm
Making the best of passing time.

The beauty of the hours spent
Beneath God's starry firmament,
Are but a taste of what's in store,
Beyond the glow of heaven's door!

Hi,
The beauty of the hours spent
    Beneath God's starry firmament,
Are but a taste of what's in store,
Beyond the glow of heavens door!

This is a beautiful poem. Especially the last four lines. Makes me cry from pure joy.
You have made it sound so wonderful.  Sometimes I cannot wait. LOL I know I must.

Thanks
In the Spirit, Whippoorwill

I was gone on vacation for a week and must have missed this your beautiful poem the first time through... but I do Thank God for second chances. (Amen) So many Wonderful thoughts expressed here in your poem I have found ... One thought is how fragile time truly is and another thought is how beautiful time will one day be over on the other side. God bless you and again so very happy to have read and to have voted for your poem.
