Sun Day-Son Day

Morning sun, bright and new,
Warmed my soul and my love grew.
Young in heart, happy to be me,
Believing I would always be free.

Midday sun so hot I cried.
Falling down I almost died.
Losing hope I could not see,
The gift of love still lived in me.

Setting sun, God hears my plea.
I feel His love cover me.
Jesus takes away my sin.
There is hope to live again.

In peace I sleep the night away.
For tomorrow is a brand new day.
With joy I wake with morning sun,
And live by faith till the day is done.

absolutely inspiring, such a peaceful feeling I got from this poem.

There's nothing so great as being happy to be yourself and being with the Lord, in His presence, grace, care, mercy, love.. omnipotence! This is refreshing and peaceful, thank you

(smiles) Yay!!! And as far as I am concerned, every day is Son Day because His love is infinite and therefore each day I will celebrate His name whether it is church day or not! (big hugggsssssss) Yay, God Bless You, I love this, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Anita, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Whippoorwill -
I have been away from the posts and I had to go back and search out some of your others.  I am so glad I did.  One strong message surged from this poem unto my heart.. That God is our hope, no matter what.  Your works is timeless and a blessing for my soul to read. Thank you sincerely - Tim

Thank you. Hope is the message. My heart may get broke but I always have hope, I will not die from a broken heart, but without hope I am dead already. I have so much hope in my heart, enough to share.  I daily read poems that tell me I am never alone, hope is everywhere God dwells.

I enjoyed your whole poem, but I think that there is one small line of but four words that stands above the rest here and summarizes your whole poem for me and if only that one line was added to the book in my opinion that would truly be uplifting, most inspiring and challenging enough to all who ever read it.
