i am clay
mold me

a fitting recepticle
for Your devine will

a preacher
perhaps, a teacher

a small light
reflecting through
humble imperfection
Your beauteous qualities

sift me
shaken down
fine
until i glimmer
with truth

Dearest Father,
i am clay

mold me...
~Sunkissed.

Truer words were never spoken, and it is through him that we become who we are and will be forever more.  I love this.

Hi Sunkissed, I love your poem (and your name).  An intimate moment you have shared. You are truly a great poet.
I feel this poem is one of the best prayers between soul and God.  Thank you.

Welcome back, Sunkissed, and this is another wonderful poem which for me shows much humility toward the Potter as to allow yourself (the clay) to be molded in such a fashion that God finds most fitting to His specifications. With prayer like this one, I am certain that you are a most beautiful vessel in the eyes of our Lord. (Amen) God Bless you and thanks again for sharing.

What a beautiful prayer.. I think that we all long to have the Master mold us into something useful for Him, and I'm sure that He has already done so in your case!

Oh, make me Thine forever
And should I fainting be
Lord, let me never ever
Outlive my love for Thee

(smiles) And He shall mold us all, for He is the ultimate artist, and His mind is like a potters wheel that can not enay imperfection and correct it! (smiles) God Bless You, sweet friend, I share this prayer with you, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
