When the stars had condescend, the light of freedom
they bloomed for yesteryears
as they passed on the message that was given

their breeze was clear and white
with thoughts
of once knew, of what is true

we climbed the columns of sincerity
that were brought
for the mounting feast that
called the time

as their trumpets could be heard
we looked around
for he has claimed the unwanted
it was told through their souls

that the might of the light
and the truth be granted
for those souls and
all their toll
for which his glory holds.

This could be lovely if you checked your spelling .  Their meaning belonging to them is spelled their not there as in a place.  Joyce

way better!  Spelling errors actually stop the reader when reading and breaks the flow.  You couldn't have a better person giving you advise than Joyce.  This is a very nice poem, and I enjoyed it very much.

Thanks Again Joyce and please let me know when things are not right. At times I have a problem understanding my own poetry. Imagine how it is for others when this compounded by grammer errors. Your not being picky,  I appreciate your concern.

Your poem reminds me of the prophecy in regards to the coming of Jesus Christ that is found in the book of Isaiah which says that the people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.... Good job.
