Please don't take this as a political statement.. it is only my idea of some of the prayers that God must be hearing from three very different, yet connected, nations tonight.

Good Jesus Christ
Our Savior dear
Hear my prayer
From Earth down here

I watch the news
Our soldiers true
Waiting, watching
Talking to You

Some say it's right
Some say it's wrong
They say to leave
They say we belong

But either way
My friends are there
Keep them safely
In Your care

Our God in Heaven
Incline Thine ear
Hear my prayer
From Earth down here

My life is hard
This, all can see
But will things get worse
Or better for me?

Liberators? Killers?
I do not know
Saviors? Demons?
The fear just grows

The bombs will fall
How shall we fare?
Keep us safely
In your care

Oh Elohiem!
Your chosen ones
Await in fear
For what's to come

With struggles we
Have kept this land
Our pain, our suffering
You understand

But now we wait
The target, we
Of a mad man's
Final plea

Oh Elohiem!
Oh, Hear our prayer
Keep us safely
In your care

Oh, make me Thine forever
And should I fainting be
Lord, let me never ever
Outlive my love for Thee

And He is the best one to turn to in the chaos of it all . You've captured well the pleas and trials of the different lands, I can sense your compassion.
God's blessings to you as we all pray for the people of the world.
Always, Alyssa

Love-

Very beautiful and heart felt-

am confused about the "mad man" reference though.

God Bless you - Tim

Hi Lovebug,
War is terrifying. People die. I know God hears each word, prayers from his peaceful people. Why war? I don't know. So much politics, too many selfish, self-serving people. I must have faith God's will is all there is and will be. I don't know personally anyone who is at war, I do know that does not matter, I love our brave who fight for people like you and me and I will grieve for each soul. They are Gods's best.
Am I called to pray for the sinners (mad man), yes.
Your poem is written so that each line goes straight to the heart. Beautiful and the length I so enjoy.
Thanks

LoveBug,

You show here in your poem a tender heart and an open ear, as I am sure God has also, toward the many voices of others who are deeply concerned and impacted by the current and future events. I do love how each voice, though from different lands, in your poem ends with a measure of united trust that God will keep them and their loved ones safe. I do join you and the many united voices around the world in regards to this concern that we all have the opportunity to live our lives out of harms way while being hugged in the safety and prosperity of our most Powerful and most Loving God. God bless you my friend and Thank You for sharing your gift here with us.

I agree....there are so MANY different sides to this conflict. Very nicely put, Erica.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Erica, this is so very true, sweet friend, I think we all take for granted we are all talking to the same God, it's just that He has a different name in other places but it doesn't change a thing and we must all sympathize with the fact He is speaking with us all at the same time! (sad sigh) I only hope everyone can understand this, God Bless You, you have a very compassionate and loving heart, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Erica, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
