Building Glory
A glance upon the descending fire, upon the purple whispering cotton
A gaze upon the maturing cover of blinking visions from afar
A dream of your illumination through the opened vast expanse
Through the rolling away of restless color down from far between the stars

A visionary warmth of flight with siblings of grace and favor
An anticipation of a return to light with blessed sons and daughters
A search across the eastern line and through the heavens so densely spread
Through the galaxies of twists and turns in search of our good father

- I kept wanting to make this poem longer, but God didn't seem to want it that way.  As I have said before - I have so much to learn about poetry.

Very nice descriptive poetry. I noticed that most of the focus of this poem was on the heavens and so in my mind I see a person or myself looking into the vastness of the heavens with an anticipation of the return of the ultimate Light or of our God. I also get a sense of flying and discovery from this poem. Again, a very descriptive poem that, for me, is filled with anticipation and with Light.  God bless you again my friend and thank you for sharing.

Noah - Thanks again for the beautiful response.

Bob - I can't wait; there is much anticipation here.  I often wonder what it will be like when Jesus returns.

Bless you guys, you are great.

Thanks - Tim
