A Welcome to Wings

I fade away in this silence time
And stretch my distance from the quest
I ponder your unseen realms aside
Where wings of peace deliver rest
Your souls are elevated gifts of light
Your voices bestow his guiding will
Oh, patrollers of my restless night
Watch over and keep me still
Divine protectors assigned and posted
Please forgive my falling choices
I pray that in this humble time of worship
I will give cause for your lifting voices
I fall uncovered to your open eyes
And sense your presence stirring here
Envelop me in your wings of warmth
And give rest to this dying mind of fear

Oh watchful treasures of grand design
Help me release what I cannot control
For I am weak within your shadows
As I feel your warm hands upon my soul

I like the total grandeur of your poem, but there is one aspect that spoke to me the most personally and that is the plurality of the watchful and participating beings.  Your poem speaks to me way beyond what an episode of "X Files" might suggest..... We are not alone in a Big Way!!! (Amen) I like the words that you have chosen here and the way that you have chosen to placed those words in your poem. (Syntax) Again, very good writing.

Bob, you have no idea how you have made my day.  My poetry is so personal and so much a part of myself, it is hard to let others see it.  You make me glad that I have.  The idea that someone else might be blessed by my own heart wrenching thoughts and emotions means so much.

Thank you so much.. seriously.
God bless you Bob

Timothy:  This is a fine poem. I'm glad I read it this morning, as it spoke to me in a special way.

(big hugggsssssss) I too love the way Robert put it, dearest friend, we are not alone at all, in fact, we are ALWAYS watched over and there is never a place we go without His presence not lurking! (smiles) Yay, I love this, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Timothy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
