THE CLIMB

The climb
To the top of the mountain,
Was so hard, so laborious,
So time consuming.
Nonetheless
With my goal in mind,
I set my eyes on the summit,
And stumbled,
Tripped and clawed
Until I was victorious
In my effort.
Not without pain,
I reached the top
Of where I wanted,
Where I thought
I needed to be.

Hands held high
Towards the heavens,
I triumphantly shouted
Into the wind.
The echo I expected,
Was not there.
I looked down
From where
I had painfully climbed,
And realized
I was standing at the top
Of an awfully small
Very insignificant hill.

I be me BUT who does me be?

The hill may have appeared to be small, my friend, but your toil was not in vain. You fought and struggled and you conquered something that was difficult for you to conquer, and that is a great thing. It is one less thing you will have to face. God bless!

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.--Jesus Christ

SPIRIT:  The hill may have looked small to you, but I'm sure God saw what an effort it was to conquer!

The problem here is I never know with your writing if it is Truth, Lies or Imagination. If it's true, then I agree with prior responses. If it's lies or imagination, then well done as well. Good write.

(smiles) Oh Das, it may have been just a hill but we must always take life one step at a time so consider yourself victorious and blessed! (kiss on cheek) This is filled with light, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Das, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Congratulations on your victory.  Every one is worth winning no matter how small.  I loved this.  Joyce
