I think that maybe one day when silence rules the earth I’ll hear an angel pray for the saving of our souls and I will join my voice to feelings of my heart and sing the song of women who in life could not break free into a higher realm that foretells of a future more wonderful and true that the view seen from eyes of the human kind.

Some have tried and I’ll be glad for oft times off-key notes that speak of a willingness to enter the unknown and reach for some future gain far from the worldly stage but too I will be sad for the times before they had the need to awaken to the beauty of their tunes.  And then I’ll kneel before the fairest of them all who knowingly or unknowingly harvested the force of God’s awesome power and tried to send the song of soul into the heart of man.

Yet lonely is my voice before an angel prays and silent I remain until another day but here before an unseen force I ask him to believe I too am an angel and one day I will sing if only in my heart where by amazing grace I came to feel the power of true immortal love.

I think that maybe one day love will sit on a throne and rule mere mortal subjects in a better, finer, way but only when an angel’s words uttered when she prays are heard and understood by the multitudes on earth will the song of soul be all we’ll need to know in order to grow to full maturity.

Meanwhile there is war that affects us one and all and I can’t say or even know when I’ll hear an angel pray!

Helen

Perhaps the voice as of a trumpet that will sound when the dead in Christ and those who are yet alive are risen to meet Him in the air, just might be the song of your angel. I found myself a bit lost in the complexity of your poem/prose that is found in the formatted pattern of your thoughts here, yet I was encouraged by your expressed simpliciy of heart and request for a life that would encourage your voice tones or inner voice tones to sing with the beauty and courage of the angels. I too believe that Love will one day reign upon the Throne. Wonderful expression here my friend. I enjoyed reading your work very much.  GOD bless and Welcome to Spiritual.

Thank you, Bob, for your thoughts.  I quite often need my writings to be "translated" for me so I myself can understand what I've written.  You did that for me - thank you!

Dear Honeybunch.  Wow!  I forgot to take a breath as I read your poem.  Your punctuation marks are so far apart.  But I concur that the time will come when God rules this world with the love that we should have been practicing all of these centuries.  Joyce

Honeybunch your poem said so much, and was actually presented more as prose than poetry.  I am emailing you something to look at and hope you understand I am sending it in kindness.  This was I am sure the feeling of so many these days I am afraid.

(big hugggsssssssss) Oh Helen, this is so very true, sweet friend, everyday it breaks my heart to hear war incessantly heard in the news wherever you are and innocence can become so disparate you wonder if it is even visible to 20/20 vision now! (sad sigh) I pray all angels can be heard, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Helen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
