White Dove

Someone took my Love away
on the wings of white dove--
Let me fly to yesterday
to the arms of my Love...
White dove coos her melody,
White dove hears my sorrow,
White dove broken, now your free,
Free to roam tomorrow.

White dove rests about my head,
Stays there come the evening--
Come to comfort from the dead,
Rise my soul from grieving...
White dove coos her melody,
White dove hears my sorrow,
White dove broken, now your free,
Free to roam tomorrow.

On the day my Lover died
on the hill Golgotha--
White dove flew from out His side,
Holy Maranatha...
White dove coos her melody,
White dove hears my sorrow,
White dove broken, now your free,
Free to roam tomorrow.

(big hugggsssssssss) Oh Robert, this is so beautiful yet so sad, sweet friend, I understand this hurt so much as I believe the dove can always comfort the tears we feel as only the purest feathers can end the wounds and fractures we endure! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is heartfelt, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Robert, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Once again, you leave me speechless.
God is resting His hand upon your shoulder (pen).
What an opportunity to comment on such blessed, beautiful work. Miss ya!

I get pretty speechless at some of the wonderful stuff on these poetry boards, and your writing is no exception - wonderful writing for sure.

This is just so beautiful, glad I came into this forum and found it.
