Amazing Grace Amazing Child come from above! Grace filled His heart --born out of Love-- How could the world not know His face? Sweet Child of Love-- Pure Child of Grace-- The Star appeared up in the sky, Sound filled the earth with joyful cries That echoed out in sweet refrains, "Saved by Grace, the world from pain!" A manger rocked where baby laid; Wretch was I that knelt and prayed ... Like kings of old that came from far, Me, I too sought yonder star! I came and worshipped at His throne! Once bound by sin, His Glory shone Was more than what my faults could bare-- Lost, I came and found He cared! But more than just a Babe I found, Now in my heart, a Love abounds; Am happier and filled with Joy, Found Peace and Hope that none destroys, Was reconciled back to that place Blind eyes are opened to His Grace.
