Final Destination

Drifting in sky light of aquamarine--
Dancing with angels on sea of pure green,
Emeralds and rubies could not one compare
in splendor to He who floats in midair.
Above golden streets and gates made of pearl,
His garments of silk thread and rare jewels unfurls.
Rays of pure starlight shine down from His face
that summons His angels to each take their place.
Between His two hands a rainbow appears
like jasper and topaz that shines crystal clear.
All that surrounds me, immersed in pure light,
dismembers, disfigures, transfigures, in sight.
A trumpet of sound --a chorus of tongues--
entreats from a distance to fill up my lungs
with octaves harmonious, a melody clear
announcing to masses that Jesus is here.
And then in an instant, a triumph of praise
explodes from my heart through infinite days,
"Hallelujah! Hallelujah! All things are past!
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! I've come home at last!"

Bob:  This is exultant and glorious!  It's the most beautiful poem of yours, I have ever read.  May I have a copy to keep?

Yes, I look forward to seeing people too.  Relationships are much more important these days and lasting than material things.  I agree wholeheartedly....
