God's Lullaby

Love it flows like the winding river,
Love it rolls like the ocean's tide,
Love it knows no ends nor boundaries,
Love is deep and love is wide ...

Love it rings from the highest mountain,
Love it sings cross the prairie sky,
Love it knows no pain nor sorrows,
Love is deep and love is wide ...

Love I've known from the winding river,
Love I've known through the prairie sky,
Love I've known to heal and soothe me,
Love is deep and love is wide ...

Love it hung on the cross Golgotha,
Love it reigns where our Savior died,
Love had scars and arms out reaching,
Love is deep and love is wide ...

Come sing with me, God's Lullaby.

I love this poem so much, my friend. I guess I needed a reminder that TRUE love doesn't cause pain... I'll draw nigh to the cross and find my love there. Wonderful work. God bless!

LOVE this poem you have really hit home.
love is pure in this poem, the world makes it so complex and complicated with different definitions and confused feelings.
This is why we must SEE and FEEL or SENSE love the way God taught us like a childs inoscents, base form before the world ever even knew it. Thanks Lighthousebob
