Enjoy Tonight Observing the Sky

Maybe the weather is hot,
Maybe coffee spoon is spinning in my heart,
Somehow tonight I cannot go to sleep.
Thinking back the things I did,
And the habits I didn't change,

I ask myself these questions:

Am I born this way?
Am I predestinated?
Am I just a star among the universe,
Each has a predestinate cycle of life?
Am I just a probability,no meaning attached?

Am I born with a mission
To experience life and form my attitudes?
Or is this mission to learn lessons,
Predestinated-
So is my meaning to breathe each moment?

I believe we are here to learn
Predestinated lessons, to experience life,
In guiding me to form my attitudes,
To engage with each other
In a meaningful way.

Yet how should I find
My attitudes, my lessons?

I look in the mirror,
She says, "Lessons will find you,
And attitudes will be formed,
When the moment is right,
In God's time."

I look at the stars from my skylight,
It is as though the view of the sky I'm observing
Is the same tiny picture of my life.
As I enjoy the scenery of tonight,
My eyes roll in sleepiness...

Goodnight my Heavenly Father.

(smiles) God Bless You, sweet friend, yes, He will teach us along the way, He has his word, and there will be times we truly don't know when we are being taught, but in due time, we will understand as we become stronger and more loving people! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is wonderful, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eliza, thank you for sharing!

What a wonderful way to end your day in such an inquisitive prayer.  I don't know about you but sometimes I don't always get my answer right away, but I sure enjoy the messages along the way of find out the answers.  Nicely done.

Am I just a star amoung the universe? With this one line. I think you may have touched onto something worth thinking about? Considering the size and unknown number of them. Nice write.

Yes, life can be so very overwhelming.
The largeness of even our smallest decisions is an amazing thing.  The effect we have on others, either for good or for bad.  The opportunities that sweep by us, oh sluggards we are.

But, hey!  God knows our frame.  He made us so that we can not get by without Him.  And He is good.  So, while there is much to take seriously, we can lighten up a bit.  All the pain of this fallen world will soon give way to rejoicing in the streets of our new home.

Love,
