My Angel Where is my Angel? The one sworn to look over me. My pain is beyond pain, It is more like a tickle; A constant stringing of my heart, taut with anguish. My prayer's to the Lord have long since ended; The past has been a wise teacher. True, my words are intoxicated; A drink of inebriation has given my pen courage, But honesty comes from clearness, And unconsciousness is pure truth. My verbal penmanship has an invisible hand, Expressing the voice of a ghost Who reaches out for hope. Where is my Angel? The one sworn to look over me; Tears I cry no more, My ducts dry as the dessert plains. Let the Heaven's dream of passion, Forgiving me for my sins, So my sweet Angel of the Light, Can deliver me from myself. Keith Marcel Write from the soul and the words will flow |

Keith, Yes, the world is full of angels of light and encouragement and also angels of darkness and discouragement.... Glad to read that you are seeking to hear the right voices and make the right choices in your life. I've been through dark times also my friend and just knowing that there are forces beyond us is of great comfort my friend. Good write and I agree and believe also that angels are always near. -Bob |

Keith - Be calmed in knowing that your angels are always with you. I find it so interesting how so many of us inspirational poets find a similiar fascination with angels. I believe there is a whole parralel dimension of angels out there, communicating with each other and with us in so many ways. It is comforting to know we are not alone on this earth. Keith, it seems you are going through tough times, or at least you were when you wrote this poem. Trust in his wisdome and his will and you will find peace, a peace that very well might be delivered by one of these angels. I wonder how hard it would be for a group of us to get together and publish a book of poems on angels. Just a thought.. Good work on the poem, heart felt and honest.
