With God in My Life My life's like a shell Washed up by the tide. Pretty to look at, But empty inside. My life's like a branch Torn off of a tree. Falls in the river And drifts to the sea. Just like an eagle That soars in the sky, Lonely, with no one To hear when I cry. But shells hold the sound Of oceans within. Branches are gathered, Wherever they've been. I love the simplicity of God's wisdom that is expressed through your poetry here... What we sometimes view as limitations, God can use as a great attribute for Him and His Kingdom.
