A Cloud's Tale

Alongst one highway on one lift
steaded by a conveying drift
a cloud fair-fared her way with course
smooth-scudding in its breath and force
intending with all fluff and soul
toward a handsome minded goal.
She groomed herself upon the flight
perfumed and rosed her cheeks of white
then asked the sun his deem of view
and on her he said "beauty true!"
So was she pleased, it enchriched far
her soul as bright as any star
"and may its book stay opened wide
as love flips all pages inside!"

But day in age came tolling down
and still her breast's quest lacked a crown
Vain was her wish that boldly flew
while patience stayed like a statue
and pages by love swiftly turned
inside a heart as swiftly burned.
Her blood of life so gravely strains
and breaks its frame and hurting rains;
Her whitesome cheeks turned wroth and swarth
as anger thro and thro did worth.
She stormed up heaven's holy stairs
full of thunder and vicious cares
And asked the sun his deem of view
and still he said  "a beauty true"
A rainbow streched adown her formed
and her cheeks again brightly warmed
following its path she hears hopes crow
her quest will yet fly tommorow.
And thus all brightness finds a dark
and thus all darkness finds a spark
and in betwixt fair beauty's trait
of natures in every fate.

(sigh) This is so very well said, sweet friend, there is a liht in every strand of darkness and vice-versa so therefore He will always listen and will amalgamate our tears with that of hope and loves strength! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, the clouds light up in your words, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I like the mythological ring to your rhyme as if written during ancient times when the Greek and Roman cultures gave the elements such life like character as you have done here...  I suppose if we could go back in time and if we could give the elements voice, I suppose what you have written here just might be the case about the beautifully adorned and well natured cloud who stormed in and gained herself a rainbow. Very good creative writing my friend.
