This is written about a difficult time in my life, but is now in the past.

Bring on the Spring

Here in the winter of my soul,
I grope for things to make me whole.
To gather in each scattered part
And to repair my shattered heart.
Where is the glue to hold me fast
And make me functional, at last?
No weeping eyes, no sobs and cries.
No trembling hands, no heavy sighs.
No indecision or despair.
No lethargy or vacant stare!

A door in life is closed to me,
But surely God has plans to see
That I resume a useful place.
Contribute to the human race.
New strength is coursing through my veins.
God is always at the reins!
Bring on the spring, the summer, fall.
I lived through winter, after all!

(sigh) Oh Betty, this is wonderful, sweet friend, yes, and knowing we can live through winter we can expand and contort spring with our heart and make it last evermore! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is delightful, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Betty, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Paul:  Thanks for your kind comments. I'm sure we grow from adversity, as long as we keep faith.  Fortunately, no trouble lasts forever!

Nancy:  Thank you for your special reply. I have moved on from the time I wrote about and things are fine now.  I still think about it however and decided maybe it would help someone to read it.

Joyce:  Thanks for your thoughtful words. I know you've had some times like this too. How would we survive without His help?

What I have gained from your writing  here is an example of your trust and faith in God to bring you through whatever life trials may come your way....  A wonderful exhortation to us all.
