My love, my hands grasp the air of your shadow
as this heart silently beats in retreat, in search of
that which once graced my eyes as the heavens
above nodded approvingly of you.

My love, sands sift through these fingers, as my
fleeting grasp sifts the Sahara of my soul, a
thirst overwhelming, my lips in need of
your lips.

I have waited months to hear the sigh return
to my ears.  A sound so heavenly, such a
blissful sharing of passion.   As candles burn
the ache of you in the flicker.

I shall await, I shall not walk another step
as long as my empty arms feel the void of
our love, the void of oneness.

My love, I await....till time is no more
and the last glimmer of a star becomes
nothing more than the darkness of
night without you...

Oh, my gawd! As I read these words of impassioned love, I stopped breathing and my heart started beating like a trip hammer!
