Love is like a game of cards You win, you pass, you loose Life is like a poker game Depends wich bluff you choose  And in the game of life and love There are the Kings and Queens They rule love's game in their own way At least that's how it seems  Sometimes Jacks come out to play They're a joyful bunch and kind It happens they'll overrule the Kings But isn't it true that love is blind  However they can't live without The nine, ten, two or eight The 'common' numbers of life's game They'll set the balance straight  Then there are the Joker's They've lots of rules, not always fair When you let them play your game Keep watch and take good care  The lowest of them all is Ace But sometimes he's on top above And that's the moral of this verse Don't ever give up on the game of love Like scattered leaves...my words will flow |

Titia! This is wonderful! I hope these are your cards, because they look "old" in the sense that they have been around a long time, and have given much enjoyment in so many ways. It comes to mind, an old song about a deck of cards, and how akin they are to passages in the Bible... thank you for this! A veritible  it is! |

Hi Sunshine, yes the cards are mine. Some are very old, inhereted from aunts and oncles, some I bought just because the pics were beautiful. Glad you liked my little rhyme  Titia Like scattered leaves...my words will flow |
