(This is a special love duet that me and my Joanna (RosePetal) wrote a year ago, yay! )

Blue: Noah
Magenta: Joanna (my green-eyed love dove)

When Snow Angels Kiss
By: Noah Eaton & RosePetal
12/4/01

Side by side we lean on each other in a cozy sleigh
Listening to the sweet jingle bells of our chariot ride play
I hear you sigh happily, breathing softly on your cheek
Feeling the snowflakes kiss your flesh like angels as you sleep
These halcyon holidays chant merrily as I hear your lips sing
Of silent nights and Christmas days crowned in halos and rings
Gently I kiss your lips, adorning your hair with a juniper sprig
You wear the tiara of winter so perfectly, like Noel and her angels did
Your smile is so radiant like the glitter on a silver birch tree
Gently as I kiss your lips, I can hear the winter angels singing

Sharing this day of holiday cheer
Counting down the days 'til christmas is here
Heavenly peace surrounds me when I'm in your arms
My spirits are high, my soul is calm
Together in the chilly weather, we build a snowman
We giggle since frosty is lopsided
I did the best I can!
A snowball fight, you toss one at me
My laughter echoes like jingle bells in harmony
I stare at you in your winter jacket and boots
Even when bundled up, you look so cute
Our love is swirling in the air
like a mist of perfume
The winter tiara sparkles in my hair
Your lips warm me like mid-june
Finally, out of the pure white snow
We snuggle on the sofa sharing hot cocoa
Soon Santa Claus will be on his way
Atop our roof with his reindeer and sleigh
Through the window we watch the whirling wind
I hold you tighter, envisioning the new year
2002 is about to begin

And the church-bells echo
Softly in the cashmere windrow
Together we will ride this tunnel of love
In this sleigh ride with you to romantic worlds we’ve never dreamed of
As I wrap this downy blanket over you in the sapphire moonlight
Holding you this Christmas, feeling your heart whisper to mine
And we’ll rest together in ecstacy, as we lay by the fire hearing the chestnuts popping
Making love to you, as we gaze upon the star atop our Christmas tree
Watching it glisten, like the true love you have given me…
A love so heavenly…
A love so true…
For you and me...

Oh, my dear friend, Noah. This is so special. I absolutely love it. You knew I would, didn't you? I'm so glad that you re-posted it, so that I didn't miss it.
You know, you and your Joanna really are a perfect match, aren't you? I could almost see the two of you playing out in the snow.
This one's going into my library, dear friend, so that I don't lose it in the shuffle of all the wonderful poems here on these pages of blue.

May you and your Joanna have a very

Two hearts have sung this song in perfect harmony! This to me, is what love should be like. Playful, joyous, pure, carefree, sharing...everything that you and Joanna have written about. This filled me with such a happy feeling as I read it.

Sending you happy holiday hugs and wishes for a very Merry Christmas!
