This poem was written about my summer camp. I post it today in dedication of very special friends that I made there that will live forever in my heart. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A Special Place There is a place held deep within my heart here where my independence received its start summer camp means many things memories, oh the joy they bring. A child at camp viewed not by darts a child at camp viewed heart to heart my legs may be weak my will is strong my confidence you see as I go along. Beautiful surroundings, beautiful souls here harsh words don't take their toll lying in bed each night I dream of new adventures come morning's light.
