I just got your email
slowly scrolled it down
you wrote about the changes
that you're making now
I just couldn't take it
and cried to think how you
easily reminded me
you found someone new

You said you were worried
bout my state of mind
wished things worked out different
but know things heal with time
You want us to stay friends
Feel free to call and talk
so all those years together
won't be completely lost.

So I'll make this one reply to you
and ask you what I should do...... with

these photographs of you and me
this wedding ring and memories
our first home a captured thrill
we proudly bought in Halton hills
This bedroom with no pillow talk
Your Christmas cards saved in a box
the future that you promised me
these shattered dreams and used to be's.

I'm hoping you'll answer
offer me some help
but you're still making changes
and thinking bout yourself
I just can't imagine
how the years slipped softly by
while you made a pretense
of loving me with lies.

I'll make this one reply to you
and ask you what I should do...... with

these photographs of you and me
this wedding ring and memories
our first home a captured thrill
we proudly bought in Halton hills
This bedroom with no pillow talk
Your Christmas cards saved in a box
the future that you promised me
these shattered dreams and used to be's.

painful .. well done... still it remains that the truths we face say these questions are asked all too often by all too many of us..

Well expressed in your work, a wish that your gift will be helpful to balance the pain within.  All prayers. ThisDiamond

Even though this hit close to home.
I was touched by the read and emotions behind it.

Eric

Excellent, my friend, as your writing always is, and another one where I can hear the melody.

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Eric, my heart goes out to you, sweet friend, I know how hard it can be to let go and I too never take one special thing of Joanna for granted as I love her with all my heart! (sigh) I send angel hugs your way, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eric, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
