My poetry, to you,
Is scrambled feelings,
I have no right to feel.

When in truth, it is,
Me, scrambling to find,
The emotions you have ripped from me,
Over the years.

You see, pain you didnt cause,
Mistakes you did not make,
A record of scars, that you refuse to face.

A soul, that wants to feel,
exactley what it has,
Due to a need to make you feel guilty.

When I only wish,
There was no guilt to place,
Feeling what you've handed me,
Making me exactley who I am.

You read, in disbelief,
Of how my pain portrays you,
Blaming me, once agian,
For feeling what I never asked to feel.

Tears were handed to me,
In sweaty palms, They fell upon,
Stained cheeks, tortured heartaches,
Your most preciuos gift.

Read of me, into me, beyond me,
Between lines I never knew existed,
Deep into you, beneath you,
Before you, I was not a poet.

Sometimes the softest moments, are the hardest on your heart.

good poem,
loves loss and pain makes for poetry, as words pour from the inside out

lots of things start us writing... some more painful than others...

enjoyed this and understand the pain in the words.
