Between the Lines

Tempting Fate

I dressed in sheerness just for you,
naked thoughts to tease your eye.
But went to sleep in shades of gray
and danced to slowness, dreaming "why".

Leaning 'gainst the tall and strong,
I'm blinded by the daze of you.
And come the Winter of my life
I'll dance the slow ones in full view.

In silent rest I think You-thoughts,
in pretense keeping moments hid.
And model for you, thoughts I wear
and walk the line of "once forbid".

So tempting, fate and I seem crossed,
overlapping between the lines.
I trace the path to form a chain,
connecting links to your confines.

The fervor of, solicitude
weighs itself in ecstasy,
intoxicates and fills the void
to reign upon this myst of me.

I dressed this night for only you,
with tender thoughts, my touch to be.
Sheathed in darkness, clothed in want,
I await, the "You for Me".

M

WOW!
M,
That was awesome. You just amaze me girl. I'm thinking that is a keeper. Thank you.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
