the ass-end of space

Underneath a vacant sky
I sow these fruitless
ideals in tainted soil
and reap only dust

Barren fields that
sprawl across the
plains of thought
for miles without end

The line of horizon
fades into the sky
engulfing me in
a cold sea of grey

I am emaciated
the pangs of hunger
scream for new gods
to feed my soul

You wrote of the vacant skies, only too well!---as if you were writing from personal experience. If this be the case, I am sending over a downy soft comforter and words of comfort to feed your soul and lots of candles to add light to this dreary picture you painted with your pen.

You certainly did create an atmosphere, albeit cold and lonely!

~ Sending you lots of love, light, and emotional healing

Raph, this does sound awfully lonely. I hope it's not from your own personal feelings right now.

OK Raph, time to flush the soils, remove all the toxic wastes, and plant some new seeds for the upcoming year.
