"THE ROOT OF IT ALL" Copyright 2002 by: MARK V SHELDON Pounding like a dribbling basketball about to miss the shot or the heavy footsteps climbing the old wooden stairwell with determination Pounding like an angry fist on your dead-bolted door which you believe separates you from the destructive arms Your heartbeat a metronome out of control All timing is lost to your shallow breathing and tight stomach Sweaty palms can't get a grip on a trembling body Silence your thoughts streaming a montage faster than perspiration beading down your blurry vision Silence louder than the fly on the wall calculating your next move like the bug IN your wall... "AS ABOVE SO BELOW" |

Excellent writing Mark hung on every word and felt the pounding grow with each sentence. Vivid and extremely effective, left me feeling uneasy or it could gas..I just had a bag of popcorn raph |

HUMMMMM  I buzzed on the bus today, got a few people upset with my political POV. Too bad, they were sleepers and had no idea what I was talking about. Daggers in my back on the bus, again. |
