I guess it must be just from where I’m standing
But you’ve changed

I don’t know yet
If it’s for the better
Or worse
But I do know
That it hurts

I regret saying goodbye
Before you had the chance
To show me who you were

The person you have chosen to leave behind
May have been
The only one to ever accept me

The colour of day
Has fallen today
But my rainbow will someday return

In another way
But you will always stay
A part of me.
