She Lives

Her essence light’s the harem of my nights
With butterfly flights and firefly bright.
On whispering breeze and moon dancing leaves
On the silver and shadows of the trees.

She takes my hand and pulls me along
With a touch of grace and hum of a song
Traces her steps the sanctum of my mind
And I follow her like the Braille to the blind.

I stay with her in utter delight
And play through the flutter of the night
She shawls me with a web of enslave
Sooths every gossamer, crave of this knave.

She’s the will-o’-the-wisp dazzles my eye
The wonder and phantom of my wiles sigh
Dissolving the fines of my agony
While pouring me wines of ecstasy.

She is to me a ghost and a host
That sheds me of realities roast.

She's a wonder, she is!
This is delightful, Sy,
