Lamentations, chapter 1
2: She weepeth sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks: among all her lovers she hath none to comfort her: all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies.

Tears flowing with fears growing
Abandon
None showing of her knowing,
Friends that were comfort not her
All are gone
Enemies now they will be,
Just robbing while she’s sobbing
Abandon
They’re stealing all her feelings.

It was too late for travel,
The freezing rain gave only to peril,
With roads turned into dark ice,
Walking by the café tea might be nice
So he carefully went in,
It was a place where he had often been
And the waitress knew him well
Getting his order before he could tell.
It was nearly empty there
Only a lady filled another chair
Even though not very near
He could see the tracks of many a tear
Of a soul in turmoil deep
With loneliness of someone forsaken
Who just had ended a weep,
He went near and asked “is this seat taken?”

Thank you, RSWells,
Pleased you enjoyed it,
Few angels tread about where I tend to go,
As for a start of an adventure, isn’t everything?

Beware, I am following this one, for I have no fear of treading unfamiliar paths.
A very interesting story unfolding here.

Yes, I read the second one first, too, but now I'm going to read it again.
Very good reading, I might say....
