You curl tight in coldness.
Snow among our sheets.

Frost upon the windows.
January streets.

Fragile frozen flowers,
tall and tender blooms.

Crystals for the vases
given to these rooms.

Bent and seen to quaver
near the dust-gray vent.

Is this warmth to savor,
or to circumvent?

Frost upon the windows,
melting down the sill.

It's not snow, but ashes.
Give voice or I will.

Ah snow and love, both so pretty when they first fall, not so when they stay fallen. Enjoyed

I like the way you give voice to the snow and ashes, and love.

Powerful piece, hope it warms up soon.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

They cover the car
with a gray sleet like fog
and melt with the air
in the sky is a bog

The drain in the drive
is filled and not melting
for ashes are burn
not some snow mountain quilting

(big hugggsssssss) This is marvelous, sweet friend, I guess one can only tell the other apart by actually feeling that substance and beholding if it silts like sand between your fingers or not and such that option can be terrifying! (sigh) This is excellent, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Michael, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
