So softly to billow the night sky
Lit lowly in colors of moon shy
In the vapors still warm, linger on through the morn
…Linger here in the calm of the winter chill worn

So softly to layer in full view
Lit by flame and by ember attuned to
Full beneath and above, as the first breath of love
…Linger here in my eyes as white feathers above

With spirit as air and the heart held high
The simplest of intoxicate in vapors to sigh
In calm to surround, from the storms left unbound
…Linger here in the clear of the night sky as found

Got moon in the title ... it's got me !

And this ....

'Full beneath and above, as the first breath of love
…Linger here in my eyes as white feathers above'

.... is GORGEOUS~
It's as though you saw last night's crescent of moon through my eyes~
Thanks for a beautiful read~

I've never been mooned quite so beautifully

Ahhh, the crescent moon over New England was as lovely and dreamy as your words.

I enjoyed this so much.
