Upon an
altar of
gleaming white
I lay my
offerings
Pouring words
in libation
to this virgin
deity
But
Gods and muses
will not be
appeased
this day

I am humbled

been there--just hate when that happens--wonderful title and musings!

Enjoyed the truth here mixed with a bit of a smile.  The Blank Document is a scary thing sometimes.

Raph...  when the ink stops, the music flows (and vice versa...) -- maybe, write a song?  (At the moment, poetry's commanding my attention...).

I liked the mythological context here.  I might steal the theme for a short story, actually..j/k.

Did you used to post at moontown.cafe?
