rethink your apocalyptic ashes routine
the native son has grown restless
in this fog endowed chamber
of wrestling strength loose from the quick fixation
I want to pioneer the language barrier
so no lack of effort can be bankrolled
from under me

fusion
and the illusion of eternity
when it pertains to things man made
like loyalty
matters of the heart
that malign the faith
that erect floodgates
around the barren centerpiece of my casualty
shutters with cracked ribs
allow a vantage point for voyeuristic tendonitis
my eyes have been dubbed numb
by the callow legion of glass blowers
There are no mink scarves whipping the back seat of my Barracuda
tearing through the deserts’ veil
arranging the crisp assault of tequila and mushrooms
on the open road before me
there are just traffic jams on the way to pay my respects to the dentist
and bottles of low-grade mescal covered with dust
seated upon my shelf like a prom date
I am human
though I barely can register
the duty

The quintessential McStyles.
Sharp and edgy truths. Please remember,  don't swallow the worm. I enjoyed that Barracuda imagery, the assault, and the dusty 'prom' bottles.
