The Eye of I

I followed the angst of my mind
Into malaise of nonaligned
I phased the fruits of fantasy
And glazed then on my privacy

A world of sighs and butterflies
Of golden skies and hybridize
A world of dally thoughts and dove
Of sensuality and love.

A world of placid greenery
A place of softest scenery
An Eden filled with glories vend
A glen that willed forever’s bend.

And there I held a candle tall
To light this wishful bramble wall
To see in magic clouds above
The face of my exotic love

A face that haunts my primal eye
The face that taunts the eye of I

I so enjoy Janet's responses to your poetry and her appreciation for the level of skill you use when crafting these daily poems. I look for content and then go back to see what her references are; the ones which read so smoothly I don't even notice them, not to mention I'm still too much a novice to pick them out myself.

You teach that art while at the same time touch the very center of us, one way or the other.

Thank you. Enjoyed this a great deal.

Warm regards, Pat

Thanks, Mr. Seymour, for showing us the "magic clouds above",
seen through your eyes this morning. As always, I thoroughly enjoyed.

I can remember...
it wasn't so very long ago
when I first began reading your poetry...
and how blessed I felt after each read.

Nice to know
I still feel that way.
