The black abyss Of a soul made of Light. It stings with the truth, Of the ominous night. And the prickling stars Shine a radiant glow In eclipsing darkness, Which you alone know. And you can't see the thing That's blocking the sun. Can you pretend to be shining When darkness has won? It chills your mind and overflows. This shrill of pain is all you know. The black abyss Of your only last hope. Bemused hauntings as you try to cope. The sun is shining while you strive, But whats the block Are you alive? -And so it was that time stood still- |
