you say
my voice
is like a bird
dying
on crack
but still thinking
people want to
hear it
SING

well I
will sing
until my
beak cracks
my wings can
no longer hold
me up
and my
feathers
flutter to the
ground

because all a
dying
bird has
is its
SONG

no i will NOT wait three seconds!

(big hugggssssssss) This reminds me so much of Bobby Darin's "Bobwhite", sweet friend, always follow your heart and let your heart sing and your wings shall mend and the sparrows will all guide you with their symphonies of encouragement! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, I send angel hugs your way, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet 7, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

That's the best song a bird ever sang. I wish to thank you any way possible.

LOL, I know there is a serious tune in here, but I had this image of a cracking high shrill note breaking a beak and I had to laugh.
Please keep singing. All tunes are equal in this bird tree. (Really?)

There is a level beneath the obvious here, a place where I cocked my head and then shook it in silent wonder.

The first metaphor is well-done, the lower levels are astounding.

I'm glad to have caught this thinker.

I felt this had a lot of "writing between the lines".
I think it's good to keep singing no matter what.
