Cinquains
~For An Almost Winter's Day~

To Love
To warm your heart
To say the words with touch
To know that every feeling is
Special

Special
Hearts, one to one
Beat each others rhythm
Lifeline needing, constant feeding
To Share

To Share
The Hushing sounds
Of silent offerings
Gifting in tenderness, to each,
Their Love

Their Love
Affectionate
Never wavers in cold
Seeks the flame of passion, to light
Each Night

Each Night
In arms, beheld
A richness, one embraced
Just a glimpse, an eternity
To Be

To Be
Ever closer
One step at a time holds
The promises of Tomorrow
To Love

Always,
M

very nice poem
i love the 'circular'structure of it

The greatest thing u'll ever learn
is just to love
and be loved
in return

Back to the beginning to walk the path and make new discoveries. You have a wonderful way of doing these.

amazing. You have so many wonderful thoughts to put in
poetry. You are a really special person, lady.

M

zenny, thank you. Yes I think on another forum several of us sort of invented doing them in a connected way, sort of a Cinquain Round.

M

Marti, thanks it's sort of like Mark V's less thans connected.

Kethry, they are really fun...just count the syllables 2,4,6 8,2  and then  repeat the last words at the beginning of the next grouping.
hugs
M

Ethel, I have thoughts that never stop coming for the last 4 years...not so sure it is  all that healthy Thank you for your kind words.
