Amplified heartbeats pound
from the depths of me
as I cry your name
over the waves
of time,
and distance
becomes irrelevant
and not a true
measurement
of anything.

Do you hear
my heartbeat?
Is the volume
set too low?

I thought
I just heard an echo
of your heartbeat,
but it was just
reverberation,
stereoed
Keith Jarrett
as I flashed back
into Koln,
and you.

Reverie is
painful
some days.

Kacy,

But so worth the trip! And you always lose me with your artist list! But so far ignorance is at least bliss. By the way, an awesome write.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Don't ya hate it when that happens????  The cycles do seem to come and go.  Maybe in time, they come less.  We'll see, huh?

Kacy, I know this feeling...  and I love these lines:

Do you hear
my heartbeat?
Is the volume
set too low?

Somedays, memories are louder than music...

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Kacy, reveries can be so heartaching, yet dreams are the beauty of life and to dream no more is the most heartbreaking thing of all! (sigh) Hold hope to your heart, sweet friend, for dreams are metronomes within the heart bursting to come true, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Shadows, sincere thanks, for reading and replying.

Duncan, yes, maybe we'll just have to endure a while longer?

Nancy, yes, bittersweet. Thanks friend.

Mark, thank you for letting me know your favorite line. Perhaps it's time to kick it up a notch.

Vandana, smiling with a thank you.

Noah, yes, the steady drone
of a metronome.
