Familiarity breeds contempt.
That's what the Prince said to me
as he dropped insults
and innuendos,
and scolded me
for reading and
acknowledging you.
He said I suffered from
cognitive dissonance,
and wallowed in the mud, while he
pontificated
from his lofty perch
of propriety and perfection.
I acknowledged his position
and then quoted him
the Bill of Rights
while reading him
his Miranda's.
Wanting nothing more
to do with me
he left in a huff
in a dragon's puff,
and the world went back to
normal.
Familiarity breeds contempt,
he said.
No, I replied.
It just breeds.

Such disrespect breeds in a petri dish, you did well washing your hands of it. Enjoyed.

Kacy, you do these political pieces so well.
You pu such feeling and emotion into them. Thank you for sharing your feelings with us.

Thank you, shadows, you should have read his huff and puff final words. LOL

Mark, he actually thought he brought things into the light.

Richard, Petri Prince?! ROTFL

Ethel, thanks for that kind reply.

EA, it was a real live Cyber facedown.

Sandpiper, I've verbally slayed my share.

Breeding going on...and there you are!

That was funny, yet somehow really dark. I liked it.

Larry? ROTFL! Good breeding permitted.

Windy gal, it's a combination of both. Thanks for reading.
