Storm Conditions
By Larry Chadwick
A little different style for me.

The rain I've known
and the tears I've shed
have often matched
what my heart has bled

But the clouds do part
and the sun does shine
at the rainbows end
peace I will find

Knowing storms return
and bring more than rain
lightening will flash
and thunder it’s pain

Floods will rise
and winds will blow
yet in conditions like this
we all learn to grow

In the midst of it all
there is peace of mind
on the rock I stand
I’m so glad He’s mine

November 29, 2002

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Larry, it's so good to read your poetry again.
I miss you a lot.
This is another great poem, just as all your poetry is.
Thanks for sharing with us, Larry.

Larry, I love this poem.

and this:

"On the rock I stand
I'm so glad He's mine."

There is so much truth here for when I personally knew I had not the strength to withstand certain happenings in my life....and yet, DID.....with calm peace of mind...

there was no doubt how I achieved it.
And, it is a daily occurance. This is very uplifting, thank you Larry.

I am so glad He's yours.

Warm regards, Pat

Yep! and you're His!
