You
yes
you
The door is closed again
and through it the muffled sounds of my words will still be heard.
They are being choked
and the fingers of threats
make loud bruises around their necks
but the clamoring of those who want to know the stories
will always be heard over the thunder of silence;
and bruises heal.
What will you think of next?
Shall I abandon my soul, Dear Poet
to suit the too decadent lies that you whisper to yourself
when the pain and truth,
like abused animals,
come to sink their fangs into your heart?
Pity you?
I wouldn't dare.
Understand how you feel?
I didn't know you could.
My words will always be formidable.
My passion will always defeat your hatred.
The infection of my adoration
in places you refused to go
will make me loved.
You won't destroy my words.
You cannot deny the story
and you will never silence my pen.
The story will continue
and since you aren't God
it isn't your place to reveal the characters.

~~I Love You~~

After all the pen is mightier than the sword,
especially in the hands of one who wields it with the grace and strength of spirit that you do Temptress.

Sometimes throwing a temper tantrum is just the perfect thing. Standing up here, folks. Thanks for acknowledging, reading, and being here to read me.

When the Lady has the urge to vent...she does NOT mess around!

Bravo, dear friend, I am sure your words have specific meaning to you yet they speak to me, also.  What woman has not worn these shoes?

Powerful read here ... you go girl!

i enjoyed your words that poured through the wrath that hopefully just stays on the pen,
tho i have thrown a pot or two of cold spaghetti at the beast, i try to keep it at that level, unless i write about it too..

Very powerful I felt as though I expereinced all you must have whilst writing this . Hope only I can live up to these expectations now I have joined this site. Check out my poem if you would like after all comments from one who can write like this are certainly worth while, cherry lipsx

Really nice temptress, i enjoyed it alot; especially this part:
"Shall I abandon my soul, Dear Poet
to suit the too decadent lies that you whisper to yourself
when the pain and truth,
like abused animals,
come to sink their fangs into your heart? "
