It's so
difficult to remember
there are reasons
for everything that happens,
and, that eventually,
something better will occur
to replace our recent
disappointments.
At these sad moments,
it's hard to understand
we are progressing through
a maze of self-growth,
becoming more than
we have been,
better than we were,
and changing into
everything
we are meant to be.
.

..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons..

Pat, this is really a good write. I really enjoyed it.
It's done differently than your usual writing, but
it's very well done. I like the truths in it, too.
Thanks for sharing it with us.

such wise and truthful, sense making words. it's nice to know that someone else shares one of my views on life. inspiringly written. i wish more people throughout the world could see this, who feel lost or alone, or even those who feel content, as it's like a  reaffirmation of faith. there would be far more contented people in the world. and less people trying to be someone else, other than who they are.
but as you say, we're all learning, through our good and bad times.
your words are as supportive as ever. you are such a huge contributer to this site, always supporting and praising the work of all of us. thankyou. and this is truly beautiful.i'm adding this straight to my library.
lots of love, gemma xxxxxxxxxxx

learning each day, for you and i, our paths have met, i've already learnt that you are love.

Miah,

Thank you for replying. It is my experience that 'everything' happens for a reason....and, almost always if I stay out of my own way, and deal with whatever happened, though difficult at times, eventually, something better will happen, if only the lesson, but, usually so much more, especially if it is a lost love situation....Glad you found it inspiring.  Thank you!

ThisDiamond:

Thanks for reading and finding the truths in it...I re-read sometimes, as a reminder...Thank You.

She,

Glad you found what you needed, and glad you are finding my poems enjoyable. I'll look for yours. Hugs.

Ethel,

Glad you liked it...Thanks for your continual support, means much.

Gemma,

Thanks for the long reply. I am so glad you too, share this view. It is so easy to lose sight of a bright tomorrow when caught up in yesterdays tragedy.... we are ever changing.... and it gets easier in time. Thank you for thoughts. Hugs.

Wind,

Oh you! Now you know I may not need to hear it, but I hope you write it.....

BTW: the sadness DOES turn to gladness....in time....smiling here, and am glad you replied.. Hugs, Pat

Sandpiper,

You are welcome. Thank you for responding....

(big hugggssssssss) Yes, and I think every one of us takes that fact for granted frequently because we are scared to accept that risk and fear in letting go, for He truly has a plan set for us all! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is heartfelt, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Patricia, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

r2y,
Indeed it's true. No pain, no gain. Trial by fire only has value as we learn. In all things give thanks. Excellent write.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

i dont know if its for a reason, but every
beginning is at the start of something ending, and each ending is the start of a beginning,
everything happens in cycles,
