Between a laugh and a tear...

Epoch

See the boy child,
the wide-eyed naivety,
blissfully oblivious
to the vigilant parent
suspended discreetly
in a vain attempt
to shield the evolution
of humanity

Feel the anguish
of a troubled youth,
besieged and mystified
by the veracity of life
Fortified with knowledge
and a wisdom unknown
He stumbles & falls,
plays the fool,
and makes his way

Taste the fire
Of the enraged young man
Poignant and forlorn,
faltering, curtailed
in a drunken stupor
Grasping whatever
ephemeral moments befall

Inhale the fragrance
lost within the middle age
Unravelled in instance,
abandoned in obligation
while philosophies frayed into
the vacillating crises
of a perverse life

Hear the old man moan
his hand concluded
as he eases into destiny,
another fatality of life
Carrying high
life's hard earned lessons,
expectations unfulfilled
Liberation grants release
at the behest of
the genesis light

BRAVO!!! Oh Eddie, your wisdom is far beyond your years, sweet friend, that is but one genesis, then watch as our children swim through these channels and just wonder how we can ever develop from here! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is marvelous, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eddie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
