Randy’s Sly

My Randy dragon sits in sigh
Sits the thinker, thinking sly.
But in his thoughts is puck and woo
To make you cross the line and do.

He woos you with warmth of heart
Swearing, that’s his only art
But if you take his hand in sway
You’ll find he means another way.

For Randy is a state of high
That hatches plots to make you sigh
Whose background is a dark abyss?
Hovering over cacti bliss.

In other words he gets his kicks
By miss-be-guided little tricks
And if you fall his rouse of way
I’m sure that you will rue the day.

But this Randy is a kind old soul
And with his age has changed his goal.

Me thinks Randy gets a bad rap ...
hes really a darling dragon chap.
He cant help that we cant resist his many charms ...
Just look at those teeth and his stubby little arms.

Trust me his snort is bigger than his bite ..
He's a winkie dragon who sleeps with a night light.
Hes a perfect gentleman when we sit down for tea ...
he's a mellow fellow after sipping the raspberry bree.

And if you believe all this, Ive a bridge I'd like to sell.
And Randy if ya know where me missing kitties are ...
I wish you would tell.

JM,
You'll have to talk to Long John about the missing kitties. Randy isn't into Kittens.
Are you making the turkey? Or are you invited out. We are going to my Daughters, we bought the bird, she is going to cook it.
We made the stuffing, she will stuff it.
I will carve it and then we'll all eat it.
Have a happy thanksgiving.

Which is more pleasant?
Reading of Randy's escapades?
or the way a little
moth promenades?

BOTH!

This poem warms my heart and puts a smile on my face, as did Janet's reply.

Happy day to you.....
