Car passed by;
Lights changed hue,
Yet I was still
Standing
Alone...on the street.

Didn't remember how long has passed;
Didn't remember what came to ears,
Only to find
That I lost my focus.

I wanted to reach out
Yet nothing preceived.
Didn't know what to
Do, standing alone.

I heard music uttered
Yet I couldn't sing a word.
The world's speed seemed...too fast.
I couldn't comprehand
Your conversation last night.

News slipped me by;
Fashions won the marathon.
And I-
Got left behind
At starting line.

//I'm all distracted and unable to focus or grasp information right now.

Well I grasped your poem, and I thought it was a good write.  My boyfriend says I'm confused 90% of the time.
