Winter winds
Possessing snow
Biting cold
Down to your toes
Winter wear
Gloves and hat
Wrapping toes
With warming rags.

brrrrr. I hate snow, okay I hate the cold, your poem gave me a chill. But in a good way.

I love this, sweets... so very much! You've captured so much in such a few words. *S* First, the marvelous images that bring winter's breath right through the screen... then a great big smile for the wrapped toes... and then a wave of compassion for those who have so little to protect them from the elements. This is simply superb!!!

Well Mr. Toe, I got an image kinda like Linda's,
but I saw you as a little boy all bundled up real warm.
Then, when your Mama wasn't looking you got some rags real warm,
took your little shoes and socks off and wrapped each
little toe with a warm rag. Then, you put your socks over them,
holding them in place so you could put your shoes on.
That's probably what happened for you to get your nickname. Right?!?
