Quilt Me Your Words

Quilt me your words layered in thought,
a senryu, haiku or a twenty or less.
My tree this year of Sun, Moon and Stars
will be joined by poems upon squares of express.

Linked by creating a Quilt-Me-Word Tree,
a holiday seasoned with you all in mind.
Share me your feelings to save for all time.
Come join me in quilting....
your words stitched in design.

M

* this is not just a poem..I am creating
miniature quilt ornaments whose centers will have  short poems and would like any and all who wish to fill my tree with words of expression to join in with a haiku or a phrase similar in length...and I will place your name under each.

little Mo Beautiful darling heart, I got it down to 25 will you forgive me?

Softly twinkle little light
In the air this Christmas night
Gift me your thoughts on this eve
And all you wish for you will receive

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

It's perfect Marsha...I want the words to be those of others..so if it takes a few words more, that is fine.

at first a whisper
by a star's light that shone
'cross fathoms of time

then shout's from heaven
as angel's rejoiced in song
proclaiming God's Son

(smiles) Wow!!! Oh my gosh, hold that thought! You are soooooooooo novel and creative, something like this would be perfect to sell at small shops or Hallmark stores, you just have to keep making these as I would love to purchase some for my tree! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, you are incredible, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maureen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Dixie, thank you..if you can think of a haiku or a  very small poem, I would add yours to my tree..I hope to be  working on them this evening.

Rick, thank you, I will add yours to my tree also.

And maybe after Christmas I will try to duplicate them so each has one of their own.

thanks again
